Ocel uses as its raw material in its production chain, Steel, which is the most recyclable and recycled element in the world. In addition, throughout the process of industrialization of its products, Ocel does not use any factor that harms the environment, making its business universe responsible and sustainable. Steel is usually identified as an “environmentally friendly” material primarily because of its recycling potential. It is a product of extreme importance in the dynamics of human activity, assuming a determining role in the functioning of the economy. Steel can be recycled in 100% and permanently, without losing its qualities, being thus the most reutilized product of the world. The products made from the steel, after being used and discarded, are collected and returned to the mills to be reprocessed, re-feeding this extensive chain. Scrap iron and steel from post-consumption is an important input for the steelmaking process.
